Modern digital projectors are pretty much designed to work out of the box. For best results though, a bit of minor tweaking may still be necessary.
Much like a computer monitor, each projector and each data source will have slightly different outputs which can affect video quality. To correct this, you should calibrate your projector for each different data source.

There are several calibration settings that we will cover in the next several posts here on Portable Digital Projectors.
• Sharpness
• Hue
• Color Saturation
• Contrast
• Brightness
If you are going to be using your projector with multiple sources consider looking for portable digital projectors with multiple memory settings for different calibrations. This way you can save time by not having to calibrate your projector each time you switch video sources.
