To adjust the contrast levels, use the same image that you used to adjust the brightness levels. Start by adjusting the contrast all the way up and all the way down, notice how the image changes. At the very top level, the picture will be very bright and details become overemphasized. At the very bottom level, the details in the picture become muddled.

Adjust the contrast all the way up and then slowly come back down until you can begin to see details (i.e. shadows) in the white areas. At this time, you’ll want to double check your brightness levels and maybe make some adjustments. Make sure your black areas still look black. If they look gray, then you’ll need to go and adjust the brightness again.
Saturation is the measure of how bold the colors are in your video. To start calibrating this setting, turn the saturation all the way to the maximum setting and then all the way to the minimum to get a sense of what the two extremes look like. At the lowest level, the image will be devoid of all color and look black and white. At the upper most level, the image will have very vibrant red tinted colors.

You’ll want to use an image with several different flesh tones for this calibration. Focus on the exposed areas of skin and notice how as you adjust the saturation levels, the colors change from red to grayish. Adjust the levels until you achieve a natural looking picture.
