On your portable data projectors hue can be adjusted using a sample image with many colors. Adjusting the hue from one extreme to another will turn your image red to green or vice versa. To achieve a natural looking picture, you’ll want to adjust the hue level to somewhere in the middle. This is a very subjective calibration, so just keep adjusting the levels until the image looks natural.
A good color to use for adjusting hue levels is an image with lots of flesh tones. Try to find a video image with lots of faces and exposed skin. You’ll want to have more than one person’s skin showing so you can make comparisons.
If you have one of the portable digital projectors that allows you to set the red, green, blue components separately, just repeat the above steps for all three components.
