Superb Projector !!
This is my first Vedio Projector ( came 4-5 days back ) . I palyed blue-ray movie . it’s picture quality is better than my sony 1080 LCD 46″ TV .

I repaced an older projector with the HC5500
I have a theater room that is about 25′ in depth, I had my old projector mounted about 18 feet back on the ceiling.

So far so good…
Our initial projector malfunctoned within a couple of weeks. Amazon replaced it & covered the cost of return postage. The replacement projector is working fine thus far.

motion blur
I’m a little disappointed. In any scene where there’s fast motion, or even when I’m in 1080p resolution, there is significant motion blur.

Quality projector, great price
I only deduct a star because the thing is so huge. It might be the case that that’s why this product is less then similarly featured, more compact projectors.

I did a lot of research on projectors before purchasing. The Mistubishi was the cheapest I found for a new 1080p projector.

Just get it
Picture is bright in Low lamp mode. I am not a video expert, but this unit is amazing. If it is the right price, just get it and be happy.

I would rate this projector 4 or above if I want to use it only in dark room. If you have reasonable ambient light in room then forget about any night scene.
